Sicily Downes, EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

Sicily Downes

Hi, my name is Sicily Downes. I have always found passion in being an advocate for mental health, and for people in need- especially those in marginalized communities. This led me to obtain my bachelors degree in applied psychology with my minor in sociology. Through my 10 years of experience with customer service and retail environments, I have learned to become a creative communicator and problem-solver. It has long been an ideal of mine that a happy and healthy life is one that is accepted, understood, and that has a purposeful role in community. Everyone has unique skills and abilities and it will be my pleasure to help people actualize them through the goal of employment. I love learning about people’s experiences and differences, and I believe diversity is essential to societal development!

Ezekiel Obieta, EMPLOYMENT CONSULTANT

Ezekiel Obieta

Hi, I’m Ezekiel (he/him). I have over eight years of experience in tech, design and healthcare, building products for underserved communities, including trans healthcare, eating disorder treatment, and pediatric autism.

Outside of my primary role, I mentor product designers and have hired and scaled teams at Fortune 500 companies. My personal mission is rooted in social impact and removing barriers for underserved communities, and I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned to supporting individuals in finding meaningful work.

My approach focuses on staying human centered while connecting the “why” between people and businesses to unlock hidden opportunities.

In my free time, I volunteer on a nonprofit leadership council, run a design studio, build applications that support immigrants, and spend time at the gym or hiking. I’m also a cinephile and love going to the local cinemas in Seattle.
